Starting in 2014 public-broadcaster ARD rewards high-class and successful movies and TV-programs a bonus based on a points system of awards and nominations. DEPARTURES Film’s HERBERT (A HEAVY HEART) is one of this years’s awardees in the section “Feature Film”. The certificates were presented at a get-together during the Berlinale.

Marie Bäumer wins the “Bavarian Film Award” as main actress in 3 TAGE IN QUIBERON (3 DAYS IN QUIBERON) Congratulations! The jury stated: “In 3 DAYS IN QUIBERON Marie Bäumer steps into the shoes of Romy Schneider and grants a magnificent as well as a touching moment of outstanding actor’s cinema.”

The Composers Christoph M. Kaiser and Julian Maas has been awarded as “European Composer 2018” for their work for 3 DAYS IN QUIBERON (3 TAGE IN QUIBERON). At the awards ceremony of the European Film Awards  took place in Seville December 15th 2018. Congratulations!

Our co-production 3 TAGE IN QUIBERON (3 DAYS IN QUIBERON) is released on DVD and Blu-Ray today. This first release is a limited special-edition double disc offering lots of bonus. The booklet contains Romy Schneider’s original interview with STERN and Robert Lebecks photographs from 1981.  

IN DEN GÄNGEN (IN THE AISLES) hit 100.000 viewers. After the last weekend 100.292 viewers have watched DEPARTURES Film’s coproduction. Many thanks to distributor Zorro Film.
