8 German Film Awards for DEPARTURES’ Co-Productions
At the 68th German Film Awards 3 TAGE IN QUIBERON (3 DAYS IN QUIBERON) and IN DEN GÄNGEN (IN THE AISLES) achieved eight Lolas collectivly.
10 times nominee 3 TAGE IN QUIBERON (3 DAYS IN QUIBERON) was awarded seven times, including "Best Picture" and "Directing" for Emily Atef and three Actors' Awards. Marie Bäumer has been honored as "Actress in a Leading Role", her co-cast Birgit Minichmayr and Robert Gwisdek as "Actress" and "Actor in a Supporting Role". Director of Photography Thomas W. Kinnast and film composers Christoph M. Kaiser and Julian Maas convinced the Academy in their categories.
Franz Rogowski got the Lola as "Best Actor in a Leading Role" for his performance in IN DEN GÄNGEN (IN THE AISLES) by director Thomas Stuber.

Two of Berlinale’s independent juries award IN THE AISLES
Following yesterday's world premiere of IN THE AISLES (IN DEN GÄNGEN) helmer Thomas Stuber achieved two independent awards of the Berlinale. The Ecumenical Jury and the Jury of the AG Kino - Gilde e.V. (association of German Art House Cinemas) awarded the sensitive love story staring 2018's shooting star Franz Rogowski and Sandra Hüller.
"Thomas Stuber succeeds with IN THE AISLES a compelling and skilled movie", the cinema owners reasons their decision for IN THE AISLES as best movie of the competition. "When life is a supermarket what we need is not found on the shelves but in the aisles", judges the Ecumenical Jury.
